Yoga Basics: Four Week Beginner Series -starts Nov 28th

Yoga has many benefits: relieving stress, building strength, along
with creating a sense of balance, confidence, ease and peace in one’s life. If you have been thinking about trying yoga and would like to start, this is the class for you.

This 4 week Beginner Series class will introduce and ground you in the basics of yoga. It will give you a strong foundation before attempting a more advanced class. You will learn the preliminary standing, seated and balancing postures, and be introduced to some simple and very accessible vinyasa sequences. You will move through the practice looking at the alignment of your body in the postures to prevent any injury, you will work with props and learn modifications, and will learn the basic breathing exercises that will help you understand the importance of the breath.

After taking this series, you will feel ready to try a moderate or
higher level Vinyasa class. This is for anyone interested in
learning or going over the basics of vinyasa yoga practice.

Restorative Reiki with Mia and Kevin – Dec 1st

Restorative Reiki with Mia and Kevin

In this 2 hour workshop, you will be lead through a Restorative Yoga practice while receiving healing Reiki energy. This experience will allow you to drop deeper into your practice, to clear blocked energy and to truly relax.

Restorative yoga is a form of yoga where the body is fully supported by props and placed in restful positions. As you are lead through restorative yoga poses, you will also receive healing Reiki energy. No yoga experience necessary. Come rejuvenate with this perfect mix of energizing, renewing and healing practice.

In this class we’ll set an intention and bring in the New Year with positive changes.This year, trade your old New Year’s resolutions for some positive intentions for the coming year. With pranayama, meditation and a mindful yoga practice, we will clear our minds to clarify exactly what we want and open our hearts to what lies ahead. We’ll look back at the prior year and let go of what’s behind us to make room to manifest intentions for what we want to bring into our lives in 2018.

Live Like a Yogi Yoga Immersion – Spring 2018

Two weekends – April 21-22; April 28-29

How does a yogi live?  By walking the eight limbed path of yoga   This yoga immersion dives into the eight limbed path of yoga and will give you the tools necessary to develop a daily sadhana.  You will study the physical asana as well as the philosophies of yoga to provide a deeper connection to your personal practice and life.  At the completion of this course you will have the tools necessary to incorporate yoga into your daily life in many ways and live your life as a yogi.

Training includes:

  • foundations of the asana practice and refinement of the poses
  • pranayama
  • meditation
  • history and branches of yoga
  • eight limbs of yoga
  • bandhas
  • chakras

**You will receive a manual that will also include a 30 minute invigorating vinyasa flow and a 30 minute relaxing vinyasa flow**
