In this 4 week series, we will break down Sun Salutations A & B pose by pose. Students will develop a functional understanding of the individual postures and the flowing links between them including the breathing that accompanies the poses. We will focus on alignment, as well as beginner, intermediate, and advanced transitional movements; along with ways to modify sun salutations for safety and ease.
The poses that make up the sun salutations can wreck the body physically if done incorrectly and can lead to rotator cuff, low back and even wrist issues. This class will leave you with a safer approach and a strong foundation of these important vinyasa movements.
This class will be open for discussion with room for lots of questions and is appropriate for all levels.
