Restorative Yoga

Restorative yoga is slow paced and gentle, and will leave you feeling calm and nourished. Most of the postures are deeply supported by blocks, blankets, bolsters, and other props which allow you to stay in the poses for longer lengths of time, and in turn allow the body to shift into deep relaxation. Restorative yoga is a deeply restful and rejuvenating practice.

Slow Flow

Slow Flow is designed to move at a slower pace, you’ll be guided through postures in a vinyasa style, beginning with the basic poses and building from there. You will be encouraged to move at your own pace to allow the body to fully achieve each pose comfortably. This is a great class for students looking for a more gentle experience, those who are new to yoga or those who need a change of pace, yet still have the option to take it to the next level.

**great for beginners*

Vinyasa is a flowing class.  You will follow a breath-linked asana practice to encourage a transformative and balancing effect in your body. Classes build heat, endurance, flexibility, strength. The creative sequencing found in a vinyasa class is often built around surya namaskar (sun salutations). There will be an emphasis on finding alignment and precision in the poses, so as to build a deeper awareness in the movement. Vinyasa classes will eave you feeling energized.

**all levels | modifications will be provided**

Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga is a gentle and relaxing practice.  It works deep into the connective tissues to activate change at that deepest level. With passive (rather than active) postures, it challenges you to find peace in what may be a slightly uncomfortable position and hold that position for 3 to 5 minutes, or even longer. Done mostly on the floor, the postures increase flexibility as well as increase a deeper level of inner awareness.

Yoga Basics

A slower, more informative practice.  Great for beginners looking to build a solid foundation in their asana practice.

Yoga Fun

This is a playful, more advanced class.  We will flow through some sun salutations and take it from there experimenting and playing with advanced poses.  Not appropriate for beginners but definitely appropriate for anyone up for some fun challenging times on their yoga mat.
