Beginner Series with Mia – September 20th

Yoga has many benefits: relieving stress, building strength, along
with creating a sense of balance, confidence, ease and peace in one’s
life. If you have been thinking about trying yoga and would like to
start then this is the class for you.

This 4 week Beginner Series class will introduce and ground you in the
basics of yoga. It will give you a strong foundation before attempting
a more advanced class. You will learn the preliminary standing, seated
and balancing postures, and be introduced to some simple and very
accessible vinyasa sequences. You will move through the practice
looking at the alignment of your body in the postures to prevent any
injury, you will work with props and learn modifications, and will
learn the basic breathing exercises that will help you understand the
importance of the breath.

After taking this series, you will feel ready to try a moderate or
higher level Vinyasa Flow class. This is for anyone interested in
learning or going over the basics of vinyasa yoga practice.

Dates: Saturday, September 20th, 27th, October 4th, and 11th
Time:  9:00-10:00 am
Price: $70 for the 4 week series if registered by September 15th; $85 after
